Multicasting enables group communication to simultaneously transmit messages from one

چکیده
A scalable QoS aware multicast deployment in DiffServ networks has become an important research dimension in recent years. Although multicasting and differentiated services are two complementary technologies, the integration of the two technologies is a non-trivial task due to architectural conflicts between them. A popular solution proposed is to extend the functionality of the DiffServ components to support multicasting. In this paper, we propose an algorithm to construct an efficient QoSdriven multicast tree, taking into account the available bandwidth per service class. We also present an efficient way to provision the limited available bandwidth for supporting heterogeneous users. The proposed mechanism is evaluated using simulated tests. The simulated result reveals that our algorithm can effectively minimize the bandwidth use and transmission cost Keywords—Differentiated Services, multicasting, QoS heterogeneity, DSCP

A Secure Group Communication and Rekeying using Rabin’s Squaring Trapdoor Function in Multicasting
In today‟s world of internet, secure communication among group of members has become vital, where multicasting plays an important role. In secure multicasting, security and scalability are the two important checks. Sometimes there is tradeoff between security and scalability. In order to transmit the data in a secure and scalable way, a suitable key management protocol should be implemented whi...

We consider the multimessage multicasting over the n processor complete (or fully connected) static network when the forwarding of messages is allowed, and initially each processor only knows the messages it needs to send and their destinations. We present an eecient distributed algorithm to route the messages for every degree d problem instance with total expected communication time O(d+ log n...

متن کاملOn Key Distribution in Secure Multicasting
Multicasting has been widely utilized for delivering messages from one sender to multiple recipients. Nowadays in some applications such as pay per view or videoconferencing systems, the messages delivered via multicasting should be available to authorized recipients only. Therefore, secure multicasting becomes an important design issue in distributed environment. To achieve secure multicasting...
